Meh I couldn't care less, it has just made it more annoying to use by phone with the drop down menus.

You can change it by using "Switch Theme".

I love it personally, and is it just me or does the website seem to be loading super fast? It was always fast, but now it seems... super fast. Super Staarrr!!!

My only complaint would be that you have to go under Thread Tools in order to see your subscribed threads (which is the first thing I do every time I hop on Dakka), but maybe that's the lazy American in me talkin'.

They installed a phone friendly version that like removes avatars and everything, does that keep the drop down?
I agree, it feels faster though. Also the Bullet/casings are easier to understand now( Maybe it is just size as they made them bigger)

I like the change. Keeps things fresh.

I think the worksafe -green/white is preferable.

But then, I loathe orange.

To be honest, confused the hell out of me when I first logged on and glanced at the screen. I switched it right back to classic :(
Though, what I did see did seem nifty! (I mainly didn't like the change of position to Private Messages. But that's just personal preference)

The mods have been trying it out for a few weeks now, I like it as an update, certainly freshens it up and the new dakka logo in the top right corner is very awesome.

But having been here so long it just doesn't feel right if it isn't in 'classic' mode.

I reset it back to classic. Change is bad. Don't tell the Great Changer I said that.

My initial reaction was that I didn't like it, but I've been used to looking at dakka a certain way for some years now so any change might seem shocking to me.

Now, I really see it as a vast improvement. It really looks slick. The buttons on the navigation bar seem a little smooshed together, but beyond that, it is a great improvement.

I'd like to have the old mobile friendly version, since I miss the shortcut in the top right to my subscribed threads.

I'm using the printer friendly theme now, since it has the shortcut and also turns of signatures and avatars.

Already changed back. New look is too bright and gaudy. Old skin is much easier on the eyes.

Looks good to me and has the added benefit of being easier to read. Kudos on the updated look.

Switched back to ze' old skin. The new one is far too gaudy for my taste.
