I've finally gotten around to building some LRBT's for my Praetorians , and I'm having a devil of a time getting the side sponsons to fit together properly ...I've followed the directions to the letter, all the pieces are where they should be...and yet I have these huge gaps in the fronts just over the guns.
Is this typical?...anyone else have these issues?....and if so...what was done to rectify them?

If you have gaps the problem might be in the molding or that you shaaved too much off while cleaning up the pieces. If the do not fit you may need to shave off some excess pastic with a hobby knife.
P.S. no questions are dumb
Hope that helped, Drew

Was very careful in shaving off sprue marks and mold lines, yet I'm still looking at a pretty big gap between the top of the sponsons and the front armor plate.
Have spent a few hours attempting to get the two pieces to join correctly...but still zippo.

it is possible that the pieces are a bit disshaped while the were being fabricated.. if that's the case ther's little you can do.. fill up the gap with GS or gleu and try to make it fit.. but it's hard to say without a pic so if you would be so kind to upload us one?

Yes I have a remedy for that :3
but I have to ask this first, are you planning on magnetizing or gluing down is fine?

If they are mis-shaped take them abck to GW and get replacements.

Please excuse any spelling errors. I use a tablet frequently and software keyboards are a pain!

Gluing down...

@ UMGuy...they look like that, it's just that the piece that goes across the front isn't fitting properly without leaving a gap.

Automatically Appended Next Post:
... Ok...it's official...I'm an idiot...I had the tops and bottoms of the sponsons on incorectly and that's what was causing the gappage...I could kick myself for pulling such a boneheaded move.
...Sorry to have bothered you folks...and thank you all for the help...I'm going to go lock myself in the closet and hit myself over the head with a shoe now.
