I am making my own henchmen, so I figured why not make my own Coteaz as well?

Anyone done this? If so, what did you do?

I was thinking of starting with the fantasy chaos warriors myself. But I am not sure.

I used an old SM (metal) captain model.

The one with the axe raised (with cape) wearing the respirator.

I made a hammerhead for his axe, pinned the =I= symbol from a Inquisitor Tyrus (54mm) to his backpack, and a spare DE razorwing was given a second head and pinned to the top of the =I= (his storm bolter was replaced with a bolt pistol).

You can also replicate this guy with the SM commander plastic box.

I am going to try a Warriors of Chaos version of Corteaz, using a GK hammer, and probably some space marine bare or hooded head. Still stuck on getting his eagle. Those Dark Eldar ones are impossible to find. Maybe he can just have a pet parrot or something.

By the way, I can't paint symbols, but my Grey Knights strike squad box has some little tiny plastic imperium symbols in it. They were attached to some pouches or grenades or whatever, to go on a marine's belt, but I cut them off so that they could be by themselves. Thinking I can slap them on Coteaz somewhere.
