Would Vendettas count as flyers in Apocalypse games? They don't have an entry in any of the Imperial Armour books. Since they're almost the same as Valkyries and Vultures, I could they count as flyers with the Hover Mode rule in Apoc? Would the points cost be any different?

If they're flyers, then I'll have loads of lascannon hitting vulnerable side armour. Sweet!!!

Kill the mutant, burn the heretic, purge the unclean!!!!

There are just three simple rules to follow: If I charge, follow me. If I retreat, kill me. If I die, avenge me.

"A Templar Knight is truly a fearless knight and secure on every side, for his soul is protected by the armor of faith, just as his body is protected by armor of steel. He is thus doubly armed and need fear neither daemons nor men."

Games Workshop said to use Valkyries/Vendettas as Flyers with Hover Mode in Apoc in a White Dwarf. I don't recall which one, but it had the Bellerophon Airborne Assault Group formation in it as well as a special Catachan Valkyrie.

This is the sort of thing GW really need to FAQ. Going by RAW, being an Apocalypse game shouldn't matter. If you're using the rules from the codex, they're fast skimmers. If they used them as hover mode flyers in a White Dwarf, it's not really a ruling, it's just them using them as hover mode flyers in one of their games. They changed stuff pretty often in battle reports for the hell of it.

But then, it's Apocalypse. If you want to run them as hover mode flyers, discuss it with your opponent. If you really want to do it and they're hesitant, offer to eat a points increase.
