We recently got the 2-Player Battle Box set, and I'm looking into the best ways to grow the Menoth side. My wife already has Khador, so we've added Shocktroopers and some duplicates to play with. We have Widowmakers and marksman, Yuri and both Manhunter Sculpts...and a Kodiak. Now the only thing left is the Gun Carriage and Winter Guard, like the full deal, infantry all up, rifle corps, weapons teams, Joe... We might do IFP or Doomies later, but for now we are set for a while, once we get the "Deathstar"...LOL
I digress, it's so easy to make a never ending list......***once we use 2 casters, the FA for .... so we can get more....*** LOL Khador rocks!!! why did I choose Cygnar and let the Wifey get the good badguys...............

Anyways, I've been looking through the PoM book, and I like the Covenant, and I kinda like the models for the Flameguard, and Knights Exemplar, the Honor Guard,
I realize everyone "preaches to the choir", but do I really NEED them in every PoM list?
The Exemplar Bastions and Errants are good, and look good on paper...
I also like the "ninja monk" Allegiant of the 'Order of the Fist', and basically all of the Solos.....

Can some Pom players please give list advice, I'm shooting for 35 pts to start, then 50.... this is our 3rd warmachine army, for guests and a pace change, so I want to use the 2player box set models and add to that, and have a fun list, with a chance. I'd like to keep it as cheap as you can in this hobby......LOL
Can I get some lists using the listed models and some solos to work with it all?

And YES! Take the Choir. Their are few models in the game that are auto-include (Cygnar have the Squire, Khador has Kovnik Joe when taking Winter Guard, not sure on Cryx), but I cannot think of any PoM army that wouldn't benefit from having the Choir around (unless you decided not to take any warjacks, and that's just silly).

Yes the Choir are that good that they should be the first choice in nearly every list. Look at their abilities, and tell me that's not something you can see useful with every list running more than 1 jack (and using the 2p BB you have at least 3). My first unit choice was Flameguard, I like the look, and their abilities are fun. With the UA they get even better with ranked attack, up to 21 armor once per game, and continuous fire.

Here is a list I think would work well with the starter contents. It's 33 points, so you can throw in another solo of your choice. Rhupert or a Vassal of Menoth would be my choice, but you may want something different.

High Exemplar Kreoss (*5pts)
* Repenter (4pts)
* Crusader (6pts)
* Vanquisher (8pts)
Choir of Menoth (Leader and 3 Grunts) (2pts)
Exemplar Cinerators (Leader and 4 Grunts) (8pts)
Temple Flameguard (Leader and 9 Grunts) (6pts)
* Temple Flameguard Officer & Standard (2pts)
The Covenant of Menoth (2pts)

I'm not experienced enough with 50 points to make an informed suggestion.

Thanks, from the little time I've had to look things over, what stands out to me, models and rules wise....
Flameguard, Errants, Knights Exemplar, Honor Guard, and the Reclaimers, Wracks, the Covenant, and.... Menoth seems pretty good... I just like all the models toooooo much...LOL
