Hey there. I've recently been looking into the Dark Angels, and have a small question: I've been hearing that Dark Angels are only worth the Ravenwing and Deathwing squadrons, as the other units are essentially over-priced SM codex choices. Is it still viable to play a Ravenwing/Deathwing company with other units? E.G. assault marines, heavy supports, etc.

It's still viable to play Deathwing/Ravenwing/Dualwing with Dreadnoughts, Vindicators, Land Raiders, and Predators, yes. Tactical Marines, Scouts, and Assault Marines are overpriced compared to their costs in the Space Marine codex. It's to the point where you can easily build the same 1500 point army in both the DA and vanilla Space Marine codex and get 100+ points extra of vanilla Marines.

If you are playing Deathwing or ravenwing DA scouts are still worth it because the still have BS 4, unlike SM, but tac squads are not really worth the points in that list.
