I loved the Firewarrior game. I know its forgotten but i dont know why it cops so much flak.
Fire Warrrior on his first day of battle kills hundreds of Guardsman, 13 Space Marines ( 2 were Sergeants and 4 were carrying a plasma gun ), hundreds of Chaos Space Marines ( Raptors included as well as Sorcerers ), several Oblitarators, 3 Daemon princes, Titan and a Lord of Change. I killed most of them in melee, it was hilarious.
All on his 1'
st day of work, and as a reward he got a pat on the back.

Presumably you'd prefer you instantly died the moment the game started, blown apart by an artillery shell.
Did you also refuse to play Call of Duty? Or, in fact, any computer game whatsoever that relies on willing suspension of disbelief?
Theres little point in playing a "hero" type game without being/feeling all hardcore. If that were the case you could play an
armorer in call of duty and sit in a room loading clips with bullets and building ammo chains for automatic weapons/ replacing firing pins.
you could call it a puzzle game. Teehee.
willing suspension of disbelief results in willing temporary acceptance you are world shattering-ly awesome.
