I'm leaning towards the LoC for the higher BS, 3++ invul and ranged attacks. My question is which would you choose and why?

That depends, does it complement your army?

We need to see an army list to know for sure, but without knowing lists, I think you'd be best with a keeper of secrets-good BS, cheaper, and he does the most CC damage, and he'll never get stuck in any combat you don't want. He also has grenades and can take away attacks from enemies. Great HQ choice.

I believe anything Tzeentch (except Flamers, because they are mah suicide unit) have to be taken in pairs, So I wouldn't pick a Lord of Change because you could have two Tzeentch heralds for less(maybe) and still have an HQ slot to play with, so out of the two of them, Defiantly Bloodthirster.

This is only a shot in the dark though, We need to see your list and how everything would mesh

Fate weaver?

Fate Weaver is horrible (IMO).

Bloodthirster all the way.

Besides, the LoC model is ugly as sin. Maybe uglier than the new daemonettes.

I agree he is horrible...except in games where he's really really good (IMO)

...Right you asked for a why didnt you? Well Out of LoC and bloodthirster ,i'd chose the bloodthirster. With might he can put his fist through pretty much any tank (Including landraiders) He can instant death T4 models like nobs and space marine characters etc. And he charges with 6 weapon skill 10 attacks, he can really ruin someones day.

The great unclean one is really only worth it if you're doing an Epidemius tally-list. He's SNP, doesn't have great weapon skills, isn't any tougher than other daemons...there is a reason he's the cheapest one. I still recommend the KoS, but if you have to choose a BT or a LoC, get the BT. He's far superior. Unless you make the LoC into Kairos, who is actually quite good, despite what some people are saying-they must be using him incorrectly.

That's what I'm working towards. I still need to juggle stuff around to possibly put Breath of Chaos on the LoC. My objection to the Bloodthirster is the lack of ranged attack unless I want to spend 20 points on a 12" range Str:7 attack. I get that he's much stronger and has more attacks, but I'm still leaning towards the LoC.
