If he was an Inquisitor, he'd get even more, as he'd have personal authority combined with legal authority even greater than a lord commissar.
Got me thinking.
Who could (circumstances permitting) be more of a pain in the rear armor than Draigo?
Yarrick would make Daemons cry. I don't even think that is possible.
Varro Tigurius would read Tzneech's mind.
Disregard the last three sentences.
TBH I take most of the stuff thats in the imperial codex' as 30% truth mixed in with 70% propaganda, just like it would probably be like living in the Imperium. Or any country at war. It helps the war effort, why not do the same in the fluff? Even if it wasnt purposly made that way.
"You have ruled this galaxy for ten thousand years, yet have little of account to show for you efforts. Order. Unity. Obedience. We taught the galaxy these things, and we shall do so again."
The Emperor, and thats pretty much it. Draigo has the stupidest, most over powered, dumb, slowed and fanboyie fluff ever. I dont count his fluff as cannon. And I never will. His fluff basically makes seem like the new Emperor. He beat a daemon primarch... Just... no... its just... no.

Just dismiss it as a myth amoung the Grey Knights, or what Draigo believes to be true, having been driven mad by the Warp. Or don't acknowledge his existance in the background. In the end, the lore is really what you percieve it to be.

The way I see it, the only way Draigo could have even got close to Mortarion was if Mortarion allowed him to do so.
Im choosing to believe Mortarion allowed Draigo to carve his name into him, then laughed in his face & immediately healed the wound with his monstrous psychic powers, before lecturing Draigo at length about how no matter what damage he causes in the warp, everything is back to normal the next day, & no matter how many daemons he kills, his rage at their very existence just spawns more. In short, his efforts against chaos, while superhuman are temporal & have no effect whatsoever on chaos, & his entire existence is a sham.
Having broken his spirit thusly, Mortarion just let him go.

There's rumors that Creed goes into the Warp and uses his tactical genius to play Jenga with Tzeetch using the skull's from Khorne's throne, seeing who can slip up and make the Blood God fall flat on his face.
*Khorne falls off his throne and thousands of Daemon Worlds are downed in the violence it creates*
Khorne: Damnit... These Tyranid skulls never stack properly.
*Studies Throne*
Khorne: Wait a minute, some of these are intentionally missing, like someone wanted me to fall. Only a tactical genius could-- CREEEEED!
*In Tzeentch's Forbidden City*
Tzeentch: Damnit....

When Khorne yelled Creed, it destroyed the rest of the Eldar Worlds.
Draigo beating Mortarion is not over the top. There are numerous other examples of similar feats in the 40k universe. The problem lies in the way it was written and how it happened, not the fact that Draigo actually won their fight.

What, you mean by holding Mortarion down and raping him with his sword? What's wrong with that?
