So, i'm sat here, sipping a glass of Sainsbury's semi-skimmed milk and wondering what that god-awful aftertaste is, and I get an idea for a thread appearing between my wishes for full-fat Tesco milk instead of this crap.

Which types of milk (if any) do the people of Dakka prefer? Be it full-fat, semi-skimmed, skimmed, goat's, sheep's, wiener dog's...

Semi-skimmed cows milk, cold or very hot but not lukewarm.

Strawberry Nesquik. It's the gak.

I prefer Tuscan Whole Milk.

Bleugh, powdered milkshakes are just gak.

However liquid crusha...

Never tried crusha, i'm afraid of finding crushed cat pieces in my milkshake thanks to the advert.

That said, I haven't had a milkshake in a good while... maybe that's why my yard has been so empty...

Skimmed milk for me. I also don't put sugar on my cereal.




Come to think of it, I actually have quite a spartan breakfast regime. Sometimes I only have a protein shake.

To make a really good milkshake you do it yourself with fresh fruit, milk, icecream and a blender.

Otherwise it is raspberry crusha all the way.

I don't often drink milk. But when I do, I prefer Strawberry Nesquik in the bottle as the power is gak.

I always get 2%, but I love whole milk...stupid healthy diet...

I do prefer plain cold milk to a milkshake most days anyway.

Cold milk is a great thirst quencher, and I always seem to crave it when i'm thirsty.

I don't tend to have anything for breakfast save a cup of tea, it's all I can stomach that early in the morning.

Yeah I don't tend to eat anything until 11am when I'm at home.

When I'm at college I tend to skip breakfast and lunch, drinking tea instead.

I drink Raw milk strait from the cow. (her name is Abee) Pasteurization and homogenization ruins a lot of the flavor and nutritional value.

Whole to cook with, 2% for direct drinking or cereal. My dairy intake is realistically 85% or so yogurt though.

Full Fat, and cold.
If someone has left the carton on the counter for even a few minutes it is unpalatable to me!

Which is strange given I grew up with milk that was still warm from the cow!

But a pint of milk with a pizza is one of my favourite dinners.

How can you skip breakfast? It's the most important meal of the day....and the most delicious

Because I tend to wake up around 10 minutes before my bus arrives to leave for college and I have no appetite just after I've woken up anyway.

I skip lunch to save money as everything at college is overpriced and terrible quality.

Because I can't stomach anything else that early, it was kinda in the quote... Anything else going in feels like it's going to come back up again, and it's not the best moodsetter for the day.

I personally can't stand anything over 1% and even 2% is too much for me. I like to throw in some coffee syrup whenever I can get some of it in.

I like to get a peanut butter and banana sandwich on most days along with a cup of milk, water, or coffee.

This odd and expensive Starbucks Frappuccino milk drink stuff is quite nice but only worth it when someone else is paying.

I prefer Yazoo for my normal intake. Also Strawberry flavour every time.

2% is the only milk I drink.

This is some mighty fine milk. I have tried others, but this one seems to taste the best. (2% Reduced Fat btw, not the half and half)

Braums milk is pretty amazing too. It's worth the extra buck or two for it's milky goodness.
