Hello All!


Here are pics of a Black Templar Chaplain I auctioned off a few years ago.

The model was primed all black. The black was highlighted with various shades of SHADOW GREY. The scrolls and skuls were painted with Leather and Vomit browns with Bleached Bone and Skull White highlights.

The pads trim was painted with Astronomicon and Fortress Greys with white highlights.

OP, that chaplain is one damn fine looking mini. The scribbly text on the armor and scroll is awesome, and the shading you have on the bone is really, really good. I'm not a huge fan of the pose, but I admire the work you put into it. It's subtle, but I can tell you used quite a few different minis to put this guy together. Also, way to rock the back banner! Don't see too many of those anymore, especially on chaplains.

I love this paint job, my buddy has a bt army and he would have loved to have that in his army.

I'm going to be painting up a few Chaplains for my army soon, and if any of them turn out half as good as this, I'll be made up. That really is awesome.
