My worst roll was:

I shoot a squadron of 2 guided vypers with EMLs and cannons, a six man jetbike squad with shuri cannons, and a farseer into a 10 man tac squad...

I miss both missile even after guide, get 4 hits with shuri cannons but get 1s to wound on all four, and hit with two catapults and kills 1...

I get rapid fired by 9 bolters and lose two wounds on the seer, and loose 4 jetbikes to 8 wounds. If that wasnt enough my seer kills himself from perils the next turn. And i found out this guy had only been playing a few months later that game

My worst roll was having three Crisis Suit Teams at BS 5 with about 15 shots total and only hit with 2.

And the Ork Mob in front of them was pinned for a round from laughing so hard.

For about 2 years my 4 missile launchers in my dev squad just wouldn't hit a thing.
I started calling them "rocket launchers" and they started to hit a little more often.
Though, smashing them a few times may also have encouraged some accuracy.

I've seen a 'fist-toting commissar 1v1 ghazhgull (not yarrick, just an straight out plain commissar)
Also, in the same game, a shokk attack gun took out 3/4 of an ig parking lot with the double-6 roll.

Just recently I played a game where my Librarian, after scattering into rough terrain with Gate of Infinity, got half of his squad killed, including my Sgt and Flamer Marine. It could have been worse had whiffed on Vortex of Doom and blown myself up that turn as well.

There was another instance, not to my misfortune, where my buddy sent Kharn and his Dread after my Killa Kans. Kharn went nuts and killed the Dread the turn he assaulted, leaving my Kans without a scratch.

Ive lost a squad of 7 terminators to a squad of 10 guardsmen rapid firing with las guns......it was horrible.

Having 6k of IG kill 9k owrth of stuff in an apoc game, Huzza for Manticores and Ork mobs, same goes for LRBT with plasma gallore

Assaulted a squad of sisters of battle with 5 assault terminators. He lost 2 sisters, my last survivor ran screaming from the battlefield.

Sisters had no special weapons.

Same game, he passes 6 of 8 6+ invulnerable saves on his seraphim after a plasma cannon hit.

SAME GAME STILL, he passes like 27 of 30 3+ armor saves when typhoons lay into his sisters in cover with frags / bolters.

This was not a good game.

Strictly not possible as Kharn only hits friendlies on a roll of a 1 if they are in the same squad as him, he couldn't of hit the dread as he cannot join it.

Anyway, mines is destroying 3 battlewagons in a row with 3 blastmasters in the same turn; I do love hits on my scatter dice.

Everyone knows that the emporers protection is spent on sisters of battle before and in more quantity than any other IOM army.

Most recent one was Guard against Orks. Marbo popped up and was all set to drop a demo charge and bring the game to a draw, until the charge drifted onto himself, and he died in the explosion.

I think one of my worst rolls was tonight. Ork mob charges a squad of Tactical Marines. Around 50 attacks go out. After rolling to hit and wound, a whopping 4 wounds made it onto the marines, which he saved.

Thankfully, the Nob did his job and took 'em out.

3 Landspeeders Deepstrike behind a Leman Russ, not scattering, proceding to place the Multi-Meltas on the rear armour of said Russ. So far so good right?

Then all 3 failed horribly and "Spilled the tea of the occupants". His other Leman Russ Executioner promply turned around and turned all 3 speeders into slag,


I guess this was the dice gods way of refunding his army's version Marbo from a few games back. Marbos Demo Charge bounced off my Land Raider and landed right back on top of him. Twas great fun

16 devourer gants - 42 S4 shots at a squad of reaver jetbikes. One died. Charged me next turn and whole brood lost.

A couple from opponents (It just happens to often to me, to be considered anything other than normal )

Me and a friend swap our Chaos and Ork armies for a game, he's using a pretty silly/poor list though, with Abaddon and Kharn in a Land Raider, i'm using 4 BWs...

Anyway, its going pretty evenly, he maybe just has the edge, but with a squad of 8 Nobs i have to charge Abaddon, because he will be able to charge me next turn anyway, so I thought i might as well go for it. IF he gets a decent roll, that would pretty much be game won for him, as the Nobs were going to be my main killing force. So i Assualt, and he rolls a 1.... No attacks for Mr.Abaddon on the most important roll of the game for him. He also takes a wound, I think cause about 6 wounds from big choppa Nobz, and he fails 3.... Dead Abaddon. Somehow he still won this game.

Another, quite a while back. I was using Necrons against Space Marines. Neither of us had great lists, but his was probably worse. Something like Librarian with 10 Sternguard all loaded out, 2 Land Raiders, 1 Terminator squad possibly with Vulkan, 10 man Tactical squad in the other Raider, and 5 scouts.
He tries to use gate of infinity with his Librarian and 10 man Sternguard squad, to get behind my Warriors. He rolls to scatter and lands ontop of the warriors, and then loses the whole squad...

Last night my mate assaulted some wolves to try to push them off an objective. He got to strike first with some CSM with mark of slaanesh, 19 attacks, hit with 3. 3 4+'s out of 19 rolls. He then tried to vindicator those guys to death when there were 2 left (direct hit). Wounds with 1 (rolled a 4 and a 1 to wound) other passes his 6+ going to ground cover save. Assaults with a dude with a fist, fist hits with all 3 attacks on the charge, rolls 2, 1, 1 to wound, gets punched back to death by the fist weilding space wolf (if he'd killed the wolf, he would have won 1-0, even if he lost his guy simultaneously). Poor guy. He is also the only one who regularly misses/fails to glance/pen chimeras with broadsides (at BS5 with markerlights to deal with cover)

My fav WTF moment was from the old BA pdf codex, with the old Death Company (rage machines, with built in rending and face punching power).

Was up against CSM doing decently, but had my DC unit get pinned down in the corner, had their rhino exploded, the chap attached sniped and the whole unit brought down to one man... one very angry marine we shall call Bob.

So Bob all alone was facing off against a chaos dread and 5 beserkers, charging out of the crater that was his rhino he attacked the dread, he punched him in the face, rolled a 6 to wound and then a 5 to pen (5+6+3=14 or was it 13...), proceeded to explode the dread.

Now standing in a new crater from the downed dread the beserkers attempted to charge the lone marine, failed to get into charge range through cover then where counter charged the following turn, lost combat and then died when trying to retreat...

Bob was awesome.

I killed my friends Hive Tyrant with Sluggas. Not a squad of 30 Mind you, just 10.

Shooting not assaulting.

I know how you feel, I once got tabled in CC by SOB; I was playing as Tau. They just wouldn't go down! I used markerlights and fired 30 BS5 pulse rifles rounds, a hammerhead and my commanders weapons into one sister command squad. Just one of them fell They then started walking around popping my skimmers off with meltaguns and bashing the Tau to death with their own helmets.

The most OMG moment I ever had though was my chaos vs tyranids. One traitor guardsmen made 8 armour saves after being surrounded on his own by six ravenors.

Oh don't worry they just tore him apart next turn

Yes, but Marbo died that time. For me the git survived.

Devilfish ramming a Chaos Lord. He fail his roll of Do or Die...Now my Devilfish are weapons all to themselves...

One my friend who plays Imperial Guard shot with a Battle Cannon at 5 Grey Knights. Direct Hit. Then he proceeded to roll 5 ones. That lost him the game, but it was hilarious.

Today I played as Eldar against the Grey Knights player, and my Farseer and his Dreadnought made an artists interpretation of the Black Knight from Monty Python and the Holy Grail:

My Farseer throws a Singing Spear. It penetrates. Weapon Destroyed, and an Autocannon is removed. "It is but a scratch!" Farseer throws another spear. Weapon Destroyed again, and the second Autocannon is removed. The Dread charges the Farseer. "Come on then! Have at you! It's just a fleshwound!". Farseer immobilises the Dread. "Alright, we'll call it a draw!".

He then Exploded.

I had 27 Orks charge 6 of my purifier models , I laid out 22 wounds with cleansing flame ( crazy amount 4 ups) and he missed 19 saves . Halberds attacks went next and mopped up the rest , No more Orks.

The first time I played the LRC, I got so excited that it was gonna blow stuff up that I moved it onto the table, and then shot at a squad... before unloading Termies or moving any of my other units.... **Facepalm**

Game against vanilla marines with a borrowed kanwall army.

I have 30man slugga boyz mob facing Full Assault termy squad, with vulkan.

I get the charge, before I get there, everyone except one termy was dead from shooting. I think we stared at the dice for 5 minutes before bursting out with tears of laughter.

Vindicator pie plate proceeded with squishing the entire mob.

Said vindicator then get's blown up by a rokkitlauncha boy.

His ironclad dread charges my last remaining kan. Does nothing at all. Kan kills dread in one go. Said Kan get's blown up by the last remaining scout he had running around, bloody krak grenades...

It ended in a draw with both of us hugging an objective, both less then 10 models left on the field.

The dice gods were having a field day.

When my hormagants with adrenal glands + toxin sacs got the charge off on khorne berserkers and raped face... I've never been so happy in my life with hormagants! lol

'Ard Boyz semis, round one. DE vs DE. My opponent spends two rounds firing around 13 Lances and fails to destroy a single vehicle.

That's just the back story. The funny part is where I did worse.

I have a friend who plays IG. He shoots his LRBT at my CSM bike squad with meltas that are closing on it. Scatter dice misses and scatters back over his tank. Penetrates an goes nuclear. His face was priceless!

Unless its a tournament I would let you rewind your move, but i am nicer than most people i guess.

It's not mine, but there was this guy I heard from who played IG versus Orks. So, there was this tank he had (not sure what it was) and it got blown up by a mob of tankbustas. Now, they had a rule where when a tank got blown up, the crew got out and it didn't give any points until the crew died. The mob charged at the lone guardsman, who made all his saves. It was the last turn. The IG won just for those points.
