Are Warp Spiders the oldest model to be Failcasted? I think they might work quite well in resin to be honest and perhaps Fire Dragons too. Banshees, Hawks and Harequins though will end up needing the hair dryer treatment.

Excuse my ignorance, but what do you mean by the hair dryer treatment? What is it about these models that require I assume extra prep or precautions?

Finecast models sometimes have bent parts. If you slightly heat that parts, you can fix that. So I guess he means that many of that models will have bent parts, because of some shapes being very likely to be bent.

You know, I've been hesitant to invest in any Finecast models, but frankly, getting the Master of the Ravenwing in resin rather than metal might be worth it.

Man, I wish there was a real Black Library where I could get a Black Library Card and take out Black Library Books without having to buy them. Of course, late fees would be your soul. But it would be worth it. - InquisitorMack

I'm glad I'm not the only one thinking that.

That was the only finecast kit I have considered purchasing myself.

I'd rather "give the hairdryer treatment" to a Banshee than have to put the fiddly little arms on and have it fall over all the time. It's good to know they're switching some of the models over, but it bodes poorly for new Warp Spider and Swooping Hawk models.

This news makes me happy that I went to my local store and picked up a metal Sicarius model for $16 about 5 days ago.

I bought Marneus Calgar and his buddies in metal for this very reason. I have not even opened the box, but I do not want to purchase any Failcast miniatures if I can help it.

Are they still as bad as they have been?
