Is anyone participating in Movember??

No Shave November is frowned upon at my work place. That being said, I am only good at growing the nasty arse neck beard, so I would refrain on that reason alone.

My moustache doesn't tend to grow past a certain point, although I haven't really given it a fair chance, since I need to shave quite often for public display reasons, so this might be the excuse I need to let it grow, let it grow, let it grow.

Not shaving for a whole month? I wouldn't be able to zip up my pants comfortably if I did that.

That rather begs the question of What have you been shaving?

Plenty of guys I know are going it, I am an Ewok and can grow a beard in three days, so I am waiting a week so I dont shame them.

If I start now, ill look like ZZtop by November 12th.

By the end of the month I should have a semi-decent beard.

Two reasons why I won't be participating.

1.) If I don't shave my face, the girlfriend won't shave her legs

2.) I have two awesome bald spots that refuse to grow hair...so I would look silly trying to grow a beard

Movember is a charity where people sponser you to grow a moustache (a "mo"). Money raised goes to male cancer charities (prostate and testicular)

I started a few weeks early


but I always have a beard, just usually trim it every other week

While I have to shave my beard for my job, I don't shave my moustache in the first place.

Only 12 guys at my school are allowed to do it, and you had to write an application, so I didn't bother.

theres also the fact that I grow Sideburns, a goatee and a moustache.

There is nothing connecting the sideburns and the goatee.

Already have a pretty decent soup catcher going on, maybe I'll just shave it off and leave a Magnum PI special in it's place? Should have the ladies crawling across broken glass for that beauty!

Been growing a goatee for past year and a half so think I'm excluded lol.

It is quite the happening thing to do in the DCM forum... at least for avatars.

No. Beards are gross, IMO.

I sometimes have a beard, I grew one when I was looking for oil in the South Atlantic, great for keeping the ice off your face.

I work in the Arabian Desert now.
Beards are less useful.
Plus there is the stubble rash issue.
If I don't shave, I'm not getting any.
