This game is awesome. My three roommates and I are obsessed. If anyone else plays on Steam, add me. My user name is Draigo.

I'm not typically big on tower defense games but I have been hearing a lot of good stuff about this game.

It's alright. I played the demo, wasn't all that impressed. I actually played the old version on the Unreal engine website (I don't know if they still do it, but the Unreal website actually has all kinds of game demos that are indie games in development - both Sanctum and Dungeon Defenders were on there months back), and I have to say, I preferred the older version's control scheme. While I imagine it's better in multiplayer, the old Dungeon Defenders had you in a far, zoomed-out point of view so you could see the entire map at once. It made it a whole lot easier to focus on places where defense was weak.

It is tower defense, but mixed with an MMO. You level up your characters, get gear, join games with others, etc.

There is a minimap in the new game that shows the locations of mobs, towers, players etc. I myself play in the third person view.
Luckily I have 3 friends to play with. If I didn't, it totally wouldn't be as much fun.

Yeah I'm noticing that. I don't really know anyone to play with (bar 1, who got soulsucked by Dark Souls and now does nothing else) and so I have just resorted to trying random online games.
It did not go well.

The controls are pretty bad but the game play itself is awesome and worryingly addictive.

Art thou a PC goer of this fine venture?
My main issue with controls is that I can't find an option which allows me to hold down the mouse button and use the ranged attack of the monk. I need to click the damn thing repeatedly and I worry for my mouse.

That I am, a steam user to be preicse (I'm unsure if it is even available any other way for the PC).
That said I have quite a few games I'm also playing at the moment not to mention college work I need to catch up on so I probably won't be playing it for a while.
