Hey guys

Brother Corbulo can be played as a priest, but isn't listed as having any upgrades (like a jump pack). Is he counted as a priest in the options sense, or is he just flat no upgrades?

If it doesn't list upgrades, there aren't any upgrades.

As with most special characters he has no upgrades.

You are looking at it in the wrong way.

You have an Elites slot that you are filling with Sanguinary Priests.

You can have 1-3 Sanguinary Priests.

1 of those Sanguinary Priests may be Brother Corbolo(who is a Special character Sanguinary Priest with the wargear listed in his entry).

You can then give each Sanguinary Priest wargear from their entries, but not Corbolo because his entry(which is separate) does not include any options.

You do not have to pay 155 points for corbolo, he is not an upgrade to any of the 1-9 total priests you can have in your army, he is purchased for his price as one of the 1-9.

This is my Rulebook. There are many Like it, but this one is mine. Without me, my rulebook is useless. Without my rulebook, I am useless.
Stop looking for buzz words and start reading the whole sentences.
