I recently played this against a vanilla marine army, and it did pretty well. I did get lucky with the tervigon spawn rolls, but it churns out a lot of fire power even without the extra gants. As I haven't had the opportunity to play it against any other opponents yet, and I am planning on bringing it to a friendly tournament in December, I figured I would post it up and see if Dakka had some good pointers for me. Cheers!

You can't have Wings and a Thorax Swarm. Move the Thorax over to the other Tyrant and the list looks good. Very shooty. I'm surprised the Flyrant survives very long through.

Good call on the thorax swarm, I will switch it to the other Tyrant, or possibly drop it all together. The devil tyrant would benefit more from it as he is more mid-range shooting based. He can be kind of delicate, but his increased mobility makes it a lot easier to keep him in cover. He does well to either be reserve and DS, or just hang in the backfield waiting for an opportunity to move 12", shoot 12 TL'd S6 shots, then assault. This does well against a large tough unit. Enough attacks to take their fighting capacity down, but not enough to wipe them out leaving the flyrant naked after the assault. This list is shooty as all get out, especially if you are lucky with the tervigon rolls. Any other suggestions?

Personally I would opp to remove at least one of these groups. Fill it with something else that can support your army. One Tervigon is all you need at this point level. On top of that you really do not need the termagants as they are a waste of points. Use the points on something else to fill your troop section and a Tervigon. That way you will have the models when you start producing them.
Rest of the army looks good.

I understand what you are saying, but I like having the gants with the Tervigon because the devourers dish out a lot of fire power that you don't get from the spawned gants. You also can not take the tervigon as a troops choice unless you have a unit of gants anyway, and having a 6 wound MC as a troop is awesome. Also, if you think of them combined as a 380 pt scoring MC with 25 wounds, 60 S4 shots, that generates 3d6 new wounds per turn, and has psychic FNP on most of its wounds, you get an idea of why I would be hesitant to break up their party. Automatically Appended Next Post: I have an extra 20 gant models for the spawned gants, and I tend to find that between these and the ones that get shot each turn, I usually have enough to cover those being spawned.

except for the warriors, they dont seem like a great investment to me. You should trade them out for a more critical unit, ie Hive guard.
As cliche as it is, they are arguably the best unit in the codex, while warriors really aren't that great(IMHO).

I have thought about including another unit of Hive Guard, and the warriors would be the ones to go to make room. I have found the warriors to be pretty effective with this loadout against MEQ, and they are intimidating as hell with 3 wounds. Shooty warriors do go out like punks in CC, though, and I miss my pairs of boneswords. The Mycetic spore makes them a great reserve "Ahha!" unit for putting out fires. They are just beefy enough that they can't be ignored.
