Lately, many times when I submit a post, seems mostly when I quote someone, I get the pop up for when you either post in all caps, or in all lower case. And I know for a fact I dont post like that

Not a big deal obviously, as I just click ok, but thought Id bring it up. I use Chrome if that matters

Next time it happens, link the post to see if the problem
can be re-created.

It is due to the thread title a lot of the time.

If the thread title has all caps or lots of exclaimation marks the post title includes that so when you reply to a thread it brings it up...
Really annoying as well.

Let's give it a try.

I got the pop-up then having changed the title for the post.

Automatically Appended Next Post:
Adding Re: removes the popup.

Because the 'r' of 'Re:' is capitalised.

Exclamation marks seem to trigger it fine, could the edit message count as part of the post for the purposes of stopping an all lowercase edit or an all uppercase one?

So to clarify, I'm being overzealous on the title check, and the popup occurs if someone has a crappy title, regardless of what you type in the post text box?

That's pretty much it Lego...
It's not a massive issue but every now and again someone has the great idea to post their thread title all in caps or with a million exclaimation marks.
