Heyy guys, just a little list I came up with for my up-and-coming game against my buddy's Tau. I won on friday -literally by the skin of my teeth- with my Slaanesh list so I thought I'd go for something that I know pretty much inside out; my Eldar.
1. Farseer – 185pts.
w/ Runes of warding, Runes of witnessing, Spirit stones, Eldar jetbike, Fortune, Doom
2. Warlock Squad – 287pts.
w/ 5 warlocks, Eldar jetbikes;
• Embolden, Singing spear
• Enhance
• Destructor
• Destructor, Singing spear
• Destructor, Spiritseer
3. Guardian Jetbike Squadron – 129pts.
w/ Shuriken cannon, Warlock; Embolden, Singing spear
4. Guardian Jetbike Squadron – 129pts.
w/ Shuriken cannon, Warlock; Embolden, Singing spear
5. Guardian Jetbike Squadron – 129pts.
w/ Shuriken cannon, Warlock; Embolden, Singing spear
6. Fire Prism – 160pts.
w/ Holo-fields, Spirit stones
7. Fire Prism – 160pts.
w/ Holo-fields, Spirit stones
8. Support Weapon Battery – 60pts.
w/ 2 Shadow-Weavers
Total = 1239pts.
Quite standard Jetdar I think.
Thanks,
Iranna.

The shadow weavers... why? a s6 ap- small blast? and it doesn't keep the pace of your bikes. Why would you need a spiritseer without any wraithconstructs? And drop the spear on the destructor lock since he can't use both, put the spears on embolden and enhance locks instead. If you wan't the weaver template switch the prisms for night spinners, Range 12-72 s6 ap- large blast, rending and causes units touched to suffer difficult AND dangerous terrain tests!
That's my opinions. Automatically Appended Next Post: The tests are taken the next time they move for any reason*

Not bad, not good, if you are winning then keep at it and soon enough you'll lose and then you'll see why you need to improve I agree with Gar'Ang

The Shadow Weavers are there a) to eat up 60pts. and b) to give some extra long-range fire-power which compliments the Fire Prisms.
The Spiritseer and singing spears are for Wound Allocation purposes (Duh?) Seriously, read up on it.

I've been playing Eldar for about 2 years now, I know how to make Jetseer work and I know how to make it crash and burn.

The Avengers in Serpents isn't really my style, I prefer pure Jetdar if I can manage it and the Wraithlords are a bit too slow for my list and playstyle.

You don't need that to be able to allocate wounds, they are dead points

Well from what I know the powers the warlocks take give you the option to allocate wounds since they are "different" I hope you are wrong or I have been playing them incorrectly this whole time . Btw Iranna I love your fluffly lists ! And your new avatar! Its awesome

You need to have distinctive "groups" (so i.e they're all armed differently) to be able to roll their saves individually instead of rolling say all the destructorlock's at the same time; it reduces the chances of Fortune failing, especially when you're making multiple 4++ saves.

When you have 3 destructorlocks armed the same then you'd roll all their saves at the same time which equals a larger chance to be killed. Thanks for the compliments, I feel so special
