So, NEW NECRONS! ALRIGHT!! But the C'Tan are Finecast now! OH NO!!
So I want a shiny new Nightbringer for my revived Crons army. Fortunately, I found someone who is selling a metal one for a slightly lower price. My question: how comparable is the resin version to the metal one? Should I invest in the metal one and have to possibly deal with difficult gluing obstacles, or risk a resin one to find holes and flash and what-not?
Thanks in advance.

You are about to get a torrent of finecast hate... In our group's experience, we prefer the new finecast to metal model so far, we find them easier to build and model. We also have not encountered any problems with flash and holes.

Easier to assemble finecast, and with a properly painted finished model I really can't tell if it's metal or not.

Metal guy is heavy, so plastic is perfectly fine for me.

I prefer finecast as its stronger, holds together easier and more detail is shown

Either or really.
The metal one will break if you drop it on the floor, the finecast one might bounce and not break.
Other than that, they are pretty much the same.

I prefer finecast. The metal one can be fragile and hard to assemble, plus paint seems to rub off easier.
Personally I avoid metal if at all possible.

Finecast. I refuse to buy metal models.
Not only do i think that finecast holds detail better, but its much lighter and it comes togethor soooooo much easier. Every time i put togethor a metal model it comes apart within the first game i play.
