good minis, but they can still be improved:
highlight the blue parts with a metal color, so it looks as if it was painted on metal and has scratched of after heavy use.

LOOK!! a shameless self-promotion! (gasp!)

The blade is worn but not quite visible on this angle. Other then that I dont want the look of drybrushed metal. I mean deffskulls notoriously loot from orks and paint things blue. Why would the stuff look like its super old and worn.

still, a little weathering makes it look realistic. Believe me, even Imperial Guard get scratches on theyr stuff, and teyre told to be careful with their equippment. And I doupt an Ork can smash something with his choppa without getting some little scratches on it.

The kind of highlighting your talking about isn beyond my level therefore it will be drybrushed.

Ps space marines are pristine and they go through more then guard.

You need to paint their eyes! They don't look right without em. Also, you've got to do something with those bases. The plain black base is uninteresting, and the blue rim really draws the eye away from the actual model, which is very distracting. However, that is a very nice blue, and your skin tone looks alright as well.

Also, a tip on photography: Never, ever, ever use flash. It blasts out the details. Use good lighting and the macro setting (little flower) on your camera to get good pictures from even a cheapie point and shoot.

Just try, dont say its beyond your level. I did the same. "Its too hard, I cant do it, itll look butt ugl...."
Then I gave it a try and *surprise *, it lookes awsum. Painting skill grows better at an exponential rate.

Thats a house rule. Each models base must be marked with a color.

And I do highlight just can't make small enough lines for the guns.

I do not base my models as it really isn't a thing I care for.

And I didn't catch the eyes omg thanks
