I bought some FW stuff, and the Resin components come on a Prism shaped piece of resin. I looked at it and suddenly the thought occurred to me, Dragon's teeth...

The Anti tank pieces used all over the place to stop tanks. I have 25 pieces of this I will be chopping on my model bandsaw and making a massive forrest of these for Flames of war...

I will work on this, during the week and post up some results. But it just shows there are loads of options for making bits out of junk and waste.

Anyone else got any other idea's for cheap/ quick, good looking terrain?

Collecting Forge World 30k????? If you prefix any Thread Subject line on 30k or Pre-heresy or Horus Heresy with [30K] we can convince LEGO and the Admin team to create a 30K mini board if we can show there is enough interest!

Wow now wy did I not think about that. Well I am not a master of terrain, but I find door mats, ( not sure i that is the correct name) work wonders as fields. And most toyshops have houses, trees and such that works just fine. They often also look rigth

^ They make packs of cheap resin dragons teeth (and bunkers) that are the right price. I enjoy the resin they use because its very light weight so it doesn't make your terrain heavy like some resins, and it doesn't seem brittle so far.

Woodlands Scenics economy pack tree's are also a deal. Not like the little packs of 3-5 trees for $15 bucks, but like the 24-32 packs for about $30. I buy mine from here: http://www.sceneryexpress.com/

On that same website you can also get a TON of various siflor tufts, and they also have siflor crops and flowers and such that look just great.

P.S. Is that a Zveda PzIII in the first pic?
