I remeber long ago when the first Necron codex came out there where boltgun metal spray paints.
Now i wanted to play Necrons again and since i am kinda lazy i wanted to paint them just metal whit some much needed colour details.
What's the best way to do this, whitout dry-brushing them one by one.
And is dipping a good way to add some nice details for Necrons?
Thanks for the help

If you think you are kinda lazy then Army Painter Plate Mail may be good for you. I can't tell if it's good, but I heard quite a bit of good opinions about their sprays. I'm currently waiting for my can to arrive so I can start spraying my GKs. I bought it because I'm too lazy to hand-paint the metal on It also works as a primer so you don't have to spray black or white first. However, I can't help you with your dipping question.

My advice would be Army Painter spray followed by the dark army dip, as the other two are shades of brown, whereas it is black, though that's up to you which you prefer. IIRC there's a fairly extensive gallery on the Army Painter website showing what the sprays look like on model.

Washing is also an option ofcourse but since dipping is easier i would pref that.
Anyone any experience whit army painter chainmail and dipping it whit DARK Tone. Even better does someone have any pics of dipped necrons this way?
Since that's the way to go i guess.

The army paimter silber is CRAZY bright. Once you hit it with badab black it becomes boltgun metal.
