Its a Dark Angel. Paint him accordingly to a scheme befitting a company master and there you go.

Certainly, it's all in how you paint it!

It is a space marine fig that is even chapter specific.

This is an obvious question to top all obvious questions.
This model has:
- Power armor
- A cool sword

Chapter Masters have:
- Power armor
- Usually a cool sword

That's like asking if a tactical Marine with a bolter could be a Marine with a bolter in a devastator squad. If the wargear fits, it's good.

I'd allow him exactly as is. That said, I would recommend that you bling him out with some more details to make him stand out as befitting a company master.

I would definitely not allow you to do that. Robes, bolt pistol and power armor, this thing is clearly a tyranid model. I'll just get confused and assault it by accident and then wind up dead.

The robes were a bit of a dead giveaway. Everyone knows that Tyrannids don't wear clothes after all the hate spewed towards the metrosexual Lictor special character in 2nd edition, The Muave Absolute Terror.

I have a model of Asorath the Grim. Now I wanted a normal chaplain with a jump pack, but the store didn't have one in stock. (I wanted an Astorath anyway so I would have gotten one anyway)
Would anyone complain about using hi as a counts as normal chaplain / reclusiach.

Considering Asteroth is the highest ranking chaplain of the Tetragrammaton, I see no issue!

He needs a signifier of rank. Add a boss pole.

Yeah, that was my first FW model after 10+ years of GW gaming. The detail on it is incredible (even despite the multiple casting flaws my copy had.. thanks FW QA!) and I was really happy when I saw the loadout for draigo and that I could use him. As a strange side note, even though the model is modeled phsyically with terminator armor (with the struts on the calves, etc) and on a 40mm base, the rules stupidly say its artificer armor. While this is techinically better for him in the sense that he can sweeping advance (which he can't in termie armor), it doesn't actually mesh with the model's look. Either way, I agree that its a great draigo model.

Only thing you would have to add to make Hecator Rex truly count as a WYSIWYG Draigo is a stormbolter, but that's because I'm a stickler for including everything for a character conversion, even all the basic gear.

Ah.. true. I actually didn't catch that he even had one. With the storm shield occupying the tradition stormbolter left hand, I didn't think to look at his right. There are a couple pics in the GK codex too with others having rightie stormbolters as well. Thanks for the catch. I guess I may have to add something to him but I'd have to find an ornate decorate baroque looking stormbolter to match the rest of his equipment first. Probably the chaos combibolters fit the bill best once you file off the sharp points.

Yeah totally. That guys looks certainly badass enough.
