In the Assault phase, after all blows...
...If the C'tan shard causes one or more unsaved Wounds in
this manner, it regains one Wound lost earlier in the battle.
These Wounds do not count towards combat resolution.


Which Wounds don't count towards combat resolution? The Wounds the C'tan inflicted, or the Wound the C'tan regained. Or both?

I would assume that it means the wounds inflicted by the C'tan shard, since "gained wounds" are not part of the combat resolution calculation.

Ooh crud! Never-mind. I completely read this wrong. Sorry for the dumb question. Thanks for answering it, though.


Edit: I originally read it as the Wound the C'tan got back didn't count for a Wound he got in the combat. In other words, he would have 1 less Wound inflicted for combat resolution.
