So I'm looking for some friendly games before going back in to the tournament scene properly in my local area.

I used to play at Hydra (and the local GW many many moons ago) but since it closed the group seems to have gotten really insular at The Racehorse and the only 40k players there are the ones who are a bit too douchey for me.

I tried to go to one of the games nights at Wargames Workshop but it was dead as a dodo and just seemed to have magic players there.

So does anyone know of any local gamer groups or a local gamer who are friendly and can give someone new (not to the game, just to you) a game or two?

I have 1500 points of each Grey Knights, Eldar, Imperial Fist and Necrons (obviously in the process of updating the list, so will probably have more than 1500).
