Subject: Question about the Furioso Dread

Hey everyone, noob question inbound
Ok, I know the Furioso is a Blood Angel unit, but I found a deal on one (WAY below retail) and I was curious if I would technically be able to use it with my Salamander army. I may buy it anyway, just to bring my dreadnought count up to 3, but the answers to this thread will influence my decision quite a bit.
Thanks

ONLY BA and successor chapters may use the Furioso (or CSM also have the option for 2 dccw).
Other codex marines may not. they just don't have the option for it in codex:Space marines.
The closest you would get would be as an ironclad proxy/counts-as in a space marine (non-BA) army.

I'm OVER 50 (and so far over everyone's BS, too).
Old enough to know better, young enough to not give a ****.
That is not dead which can eternal lie ...
... and yet, with strange aeons, even death may die.

If you want the <CENSORED> dread buy it and the BA codex, paint the dread salamander colors, and field your army as a WYSIWYG but oddly colored BA army. The end.

on the other hand, if it is a heck of a deal.. grab it!
At the least, you might be able to turn it into trade-fodder, or find an off-arm for the right side, and field it as stock. (might have to file off blood drops, but...)
It really would come down to price for me!

Convert it into a Dreadnought variant that Codex Marines can use. The skull head would look great if you can make the model look like a Salamander. You could consider buying a FW arm for the gun.
