pg. 90, Necron Codex-

"For each Necron Overlord in your army, the army can also include a Royal Court. This Unit does not take up an HQ choice.

0-5 Necron Lords
0-5 Cyrpteks

Before the battle, each member of the Royal Court has the option of being split off from his unit and assigned to lead a different unit from the following list: Necron Warriors, Necron Immortals, Lychguard or Deathmarks. Only one member of the Royal Court can join each unit in this manner. Otherwise, they remain part of the Royal Court."

So my question becomes, if you take two Royal Courts in the army, can you have one member from Royal Court 'A' and one member from Royal Court 'B' each join the same unit?

"The" royal court means 2 courts could have 2 models joins the same unit.

Yes you should be able to as long as you are able to take 2 royal courts and that you only have 1 member of one royal court in a squad.

As curently worded it seems possible, but I wouldn't plan on this surviving the first FAQ.

I would not be surprised at all if it doesn't as it seems fairly clear they only want 1 royal court member per squad, but it is GW so it may be 2 or 3 versions of the FAQ for them to address it.

Well, I wouldn't go so far as to say they don't want more than one royal court member in a unit. I WOULD say that they don't want 20 royal court members in a single unit. As rediculously over priced as it would be, imagine a single unit consisting of 10 necron lords, 10 crypteks, a couple of overlords, and 10 lychguard.

However I would go as far as saying they only one Royal Court member in a squad. They simply missed the fact that you could take two Royal Courts and nothing prevents you from placing a member from Royal Court A and Royal Court B in the same squad.

Though of course, you would now have 2 squad leaders jockying for position...

Greebo had spent an irritating two minutes in that box. Technically, a cat locked in a box may be alive or it may be dead. You never know until you look. In fact, the mere act of opening the box will determine the state of the cat, although in this case there were three determinate states the cat could be in: these being Alive, Dead, and Bloody Furious.
