Hey Guys.

In a 1000 point tourney coming up and struggling over a dependable list. It's not a hardcore tourney or anything, just one amongst a group of friends. I'll be facing basically everything except space marines from what I'm gathering (Closest is Chaos, which is a space marine, but still.)

This is what I got so far. I'm at 995 points

Thinking of Combat Squading for objective missions and keeping groups together for kill point missions. Using the scouts for wraith lords and big things of the like. Putting the Librarian with the Termies, possibly deep striking but I always get nervous about doing that.

Firstly I think you are at a disadvantage at this points cost compared to most maybe all other codices.

There does not seem to be enough synergy in your list. The dread needs to slowly walk forward to get into range whilst your rhinos need to rush forward and your termies will have to land or walk or something.

I think a drop pod for the dread or razorback for the tactical squads would make units work better together.
Or going for sternguard in a rhino over the termies. Or two sternguard over dread and termies.

Thanks for the reply. I went originally with the Termies simply because my Librarian was in Terminator Armor. I was also thing of going with Deathwing instead of SM, but I'm afraid with all the psykers in opposing armies, I'll get psychic-trounced. I see what you mean with the Razorbacks, but where should I take the points from? Would I be better with a non-termie Libby with no inuln, but take a Sternguard or two? Drop the Dread for something else or replace the weapon with something more long range?
