Check out Army Painter Tufts: http://shop.thearmypainter.com/products.php?ProductGroupId=3
My FLGS started carrying the entire line a short while ago so I'm sure most will have some or the ability to order them if you want a non-online option.

I've used the winter tufts with success and can recommend them for ease...

CMON ships to the US and I've used them in the past for supplies... great service, quick shipping, never had a problem.

The Army Painter Tufts are pricey but they work exactly as advertised and they end up looking great on the base.

Noch has them, Woodlands Scenic has them, half a dozen OTHER model-railway terrain suppliers also do them.

They aren't that hard to find if you know where to look (but I'm spoiled with such a great local model store down the road).

I'm OVER 50 (and so far over everyone's BS, too).
