Alright so I've decided on SOB
Now I'd rather not just go buying anything and everything so I wanted to know what other SOB players use especially with this new update/codex in white dwarf.
Any advice, or army lists you use that seems to work now.
Haven't bought any models as of now so no restrictions to using certain units.
Personally I like:
- Saint Celestine
- Seraphims
- Exorcists ( which I really want)
and Penitent Engine
So anyone who uses SOB please help me out.
Thanks in Advanvce!

Dont waste money on penitent engines, they are terribly squishy and expensive.
Youll probably want to run a bunch of sisters in rhinos, dominions in immolators and triple exorcists if you want a strong list.

I just wrote a tactics thread that might help you out, it's in my signature.
Penitent Engines go down quickly. They don't have the ability to pop smoke, rarely can claim cover, even when obscured with Rhinos. They're also open topped which means +1 to pen.
St Celestine is a must have, Along with Seraphim, Dominions, Battle Sisters, Rhinos and Exorcists.
Get all these things and you will wreck face with your new army at your local meta.
Have fun

I've had success with Penitent Engines, but you need to build everything with them in mind - because as noted, they are very squishy. I run 3 units of 2 PE and put everyone else in rhino's and immolators, moving everything forward as a wall. It spreads out the anti-tank shooting and makes everything a lot more survivable. It's also a pretty specialized list.
Exorcists and Seraphim, unfortunately, don't really help your PE. Exorcists are typically in the backfield and out of a lot of AT range, and Seraphim just draw off anti-infantry fire. If all your opponents AT looks at the board and decides the only serious target is one or two units of PE, they'll vanish pretty quickly.
Exorcists would seem to work fine with Seraphim though - Exorcists sit in back targeting vehicles, Seraphim hunt along the flanks for targets of opportunity. They are both ultimately support units - you'd probably want SoB in rhino as your main core. I can't help you too much with that kind of army though, as it is not what I field.

majority of effective sister lists these days go along following formula
Uriah + conclave in rhino
Celestian or other HQ
however many 10 sisters with M and MM in either a rhino or MM immolator you want
2 to 3 min dominion squads with melta in MM immolator
1 seraphim squad if 3 dominions aren't taken
3x excorcists

I`ve got 2 exorcists and 1 10man retributor sqd, fills all the gaps nicely i feel. No room for PE in here am afraid.
If you really want celestine then take her with at least 10 seraphim, the other 2 FA should be dominions almost always.
If you want to get any units i would recommend 10man as much as possible.
I`m not convinced about the melta/rhino combo on normal sisters, thats the dominions job, they can throw out the same shots as tactical marines, heavy and storm bolters all the way for me and upto 20 sisters that screams hot bolter death to me.
I wouldnt bother with the celestians or the command squad version either they cost more than marines and thier seems to be other things that do thier jobs better for cheaper.
Repentia i love. If they still did the box i would buy another one. Definite recommend.
Celestines a winner all round 115pt phoenix lord, you just cant beat that. I hate the model though so i dont use her.
And finally, the best buy in the book, Uriah Jacobus.
Just add 1 and sprinkle with your choice of the battle enclave.
My own hq is uriah with 4 crusaders and 1 assassin and kyrinov with the same both in immo`s.
Hope this helps.

I'm currently running Jacobus + DCA, Kyrinov + DCA, 3 units of Dominions (double melta in MM immo's), 2 exorcists, 1 Ret 4x HB squad, and a 2-3 battle sister squads running with flamer and MM in rhinos. Looks good so far. 2 units of DCA is alot for people to handle if run close together. The fearless bubble for Kyrinov is priceless for keeping squads in cc so the DCA can mop up.
