Subject: Question about "fixing" Resin models

So i went and bought some Citadel Finecast models the other day, and quite alot of parts were bent. I read up on this and soaked them in warm water to bend them straight and this worked great. Now the trouble i'm having is actually making them stay in the correct position. They're slowly bending back to their original bent shape. I tried soaking them in ice-cold water when i was holding them in the position i wanted. Is there a good way to prevent this and make my resin model stay the way i want?´
Thanks in advance

Sad to say, probably not.
The usual resin issues don't tend to relapse unless you put them into a hot area unsupported.
I'm not ever going to buy finecast, so I will never personally test out the usual methods on it.

Do it repeatedly, but if two or three tries doesn't work, bite the bullet and ring up GW Customer Service and get a replacement(s). They're very good about this kind of thing and if it's un-usable then the fault lies with them, not you.

Are you using hot water or warm water? I set the tap to as hot as it will go, submerge the mini, straighten the problem area, then submerge in cold water. The water you are using may not be hot enough.

Im using as hot as i can get it, without it actually boiling, then bending it to the shape i want then soak them in ice-cold water. I might have to do it several times though.
