I am going to play sume games tomorrow at my local gw havn't been there in a while and will be versing sum new necrons and this is the list i want to run

HQ
Lord of nurgle deamon weapon melta bombs =155

TROOPS
7 plague marines w/ champion power fist 2 plasma guns rino =266
7 plague marines w/ champion power fist 2 melta guns rino =256

HEAVY
vindicator possessed =145

Thats what i have so far(822pts) BUT don't know if i want to go a deamon prince of nurgle w/ wings nurgles rot or a nother possessed vindcator or a defiler w/ all combat wepons.
Tell me what you think i should do.

Your spending 522 points on two troop units with two AV11 transports.
At 1000 points, especially, you want to be fitting in as much as possible.
Use 3 squads of 5, with 2 Meltas each. If you need/want to you could have one squad with Plasmas and two with Meltas.

Drop the Lord, and replace with a Daemon Prince (with Warptime, not Nurgles rot). The Lord isn't going to be doing much, your presumabley planning on running him with a Plague squad and getting into combat, thats the completely wrong way to use Plagues. Its nice to be able to win combats with them, but its not what they should be used for.

I would then take another Vindicator, probably best way to go. Unless you drop the 1st one and go with other opitons like Oblits or Predators which would be more reliable and longer range anti-tank....

Power fists are just to expensive and not worthwhile for Plagues. Even more so in 5 man squad. I'm sure any other Chaos player will back me up on this.

This list is slightly better, but not significantly. If I was using this list, I wouldn't expect to win. Drop the PFs and the Pred, and add in two Vindicators. If that leaves any points spare, think about Combi-meltas on the Rhinos etc.

I used the 1st list today with added 4man tirminators and won all 3 of my games and 2 games was versing necrons(new).
