Hello My bro and I were playing a game and we had a squad of 6 in between 2 monolith portals. Since they take a strength test per person:
Does the squad take 2 x 6 rolls which means 12 dice or
Does the squad take the hit from one x6 (say 2 die) then the remaining 4 people roll from the other portal?

The Portal of Exile is a shooting attack. And, the Monoliths are separate units.

So, you have to have 1 Monolith shoot and resolve all of the strength checks before moving on to the 2nd Monolith.

As above - its a shooting attack, so you resolve sequentially.
