On the 3rd of December, I will be running a 1250 point Warhammer 40K tournament at Arsenal Games and Hobbies in Augusta, Ga starting at noon. The entry will be $5 and the prize support will be a minimum of $20 for first, $10 for second and $5 for third (all amounts in store credit) with a possible increase for player turn out.

Now some of you may have some questions concerning this event so I will go ahead and throw some points out here:

1) At this time there is a 3 color minimum painting requirement. A lot of people have been getting into the game recently and have some freshly done models that look awesome. With that said, due to the time constraints I will only enforce a 3 color minimum and not basing. Primer will count for this event.

2) For the prospect of fairness, no Special Characters will be allowed. This is to help both players in each game as it keeps the newer players for going the "super man" route as well as helps their opponent to have a grander appreciation of the other army.

3) Round times will be 1 hour 30 minutes. This should be plenty of time for players to complete at least 5 game turns.

4) Missions and the like will be posted on here at least 2 weeks prior to the event. There will be a total of 3.

At this time, I'm going to put a cap of 10 players on this event for time and space constraints. However, if there is a large enough demand, I will open it to more players.

After some issues with the first venue, we've moved the event to another gaming store. This store is somewhat smaller and due to a demo being done that day, the player cap is currently 10 players. If more space becomes available I will announce it here.

This is pretty much going to be a simple one with 1 Goal for each game. With that said, players will need to keep a tally of Victory points in the case for any ties at the end of your game or at the end of the overall event.

Scenario: Capture and Control.

Game 2:

Deployment: Spearhead

Scenario: Seize Ground (5 Objectives)

Game 3:

Deployment: Pitched Battle

Scenario: Kill Points
