I am just getting back into my Nid's and building a fex. I want him mainly for fire support not to sure what upper arms I wat to use. With the hvy venom cannon and in a range support should I use death spitters or leave the talons? Any advice is welcome.

Thanks and you are right. I just looked up the weapons and agree.

CC options are meh. I think carni's are too slow for assault specs, plus shooty carnis still rock CC anyways.

x2 twin link brainleech worm devourers are probably the best fexes.

though Twin linked brainleech Dev + Stranglethorn cannon is a nice option on your pocket book (the packs only come with 1 set of devourers!)

Also the moral penalty of the devourers works well with the stranglethorn cannon's pinning.

Also venom cannons are TERRIBLE. i've killed more tanks with my str 6 ap - devourers than that crummy glance only weapon. VC probably has one use, which i think the other options kill better anyways. Spammed multi wound models with T4 and crummy save for the ID.
