OK, so, I am an old necron player. Have 100 Warriors, 10 Destroyers, 4 Spiders, about 30 bases of scarabs, couple wraiths no monolith, no ctan)

I have $200 to spend (at about 10%) discount and want to round out my new force...
$28 goes to the Codex right away.
What else? Anyone been playing? Sorry they bought something, wish they had more of something? I saw the get 10 Cryptex and 10 immortals from 2 boxes post, and like that idea. What would you do?

Start with the codex as planned, and use that to see what meshes well with what you have already.

Are you looking at shooting or doing any CC? A couple Crypteks, maybe one of the new named HQ models, an Ark or two are nice... if you wanted CC, the lychguard are nice models.

For $200 i'd probably got 2x arks, 2x crypteks, 2x boxes of immortals to make tesla weapons.

That may put you a bit over $200 but you can make 2 doomsday arks to fill your heavy spots, the immortals with tesla will help vs hoard armies, and the crpteks are just very very versatile.

Has anyone tried a Bronze Tide army yet. Maybe some Cryptics in some warrior and immortal squads and bunches of scarabs? Seems like the Necron codex they gave us does not make a single Min-Max, but allows some versatility. I could be wrong, as I am going by what I have read here, but....
