Ok, so here is a 1500 point list I worked out with my current collection. The problem is that I find it a bit lacking.
Now here's the big problem - I can't just go out on a cron buying spree cause I have limited funds, so the improvements I make have to be cheap and effective.

Honestly it looks pretty good to me. I personally don't like the c'tan shards so I'd probably drop him for 2 annihilation barges.

May want to drop a few warriors for a few more immortals since no transport to hide warriors in.

I might consider taking a Tachyon Arrow, and certainly an invulnerable save for the Lord. Just to give you some options for delicious trickery, I would add some Crypteks just so you can make use of their wargear. Hunt eBay for Pariahs, they make excellent stand-ins for Crypteks and won't cost you 12.50 euros per model. It'll increase your points cost, but you can easily trim down your Warrior units to 10 each in order to make room.
