Just started playing orks, and my friend sold me this army for a really good deal, I plan on getting more Boys and more lootas.. But as far as direction I'm a little lost.. I was thinking a couple more trucks and war bikes, and obviously less hq then what is here haha. any help would be appreciated!

I would personally get more boys and trukks it just depends on what you are looking for in an army maybe look at some other armies and see what you like before you buy more models and maybe test run some ideas

Yeah, I was thinking about an army that can close the distance pretty quick but still have large numbers

With what you have CURRENTLY, the easiest army list for you to build your way into is probably a speed freaks list. I say "easiest" because you could go several directions with this list, it just depends on how much money you have to spend on new models, and how much of these models you want to play with.

You could easily build a speed freaks list with the following:

3 Trukks w/ 11 Boyz + Nob w/ PK + BP
1 Trukk w/ 3 MegaNobz
6 Warbikes + Nob w/ PK + BP
6 Warbikes + Nob w/ PK + BP
10 Kommandos
5 Lootas
5 Lootas
Warboss on a Warbike, or bring Wazdakka!

So to build this list you'd need:

9 more Warbikes (expensive models unfortunately)
3 more Trukks (Not bad to have)
~30 more Boyz and the Nobz to go with them (If you play Orks you'll probably need MORE Boyz than this in the long run)
1 more MegaNob (buy it or just convert another Nob)

This would be a pretty good list I think! You're well on your way.

You have some good models. However they can not make an a great list.

Many directions what do you fancy?

Loads of battlewagons.
Loads of trukks.
Loads of boyz.
Loads of kanz.

one of those four would be great. I would advise to go for AoBR and run loadz of foot slogging boyz then slowly buy battlewagons, you'll need at least 2 to work well.
