Basically Imotekh provides some night fight cover for as long as he can and maybe gets a lucky hit or two with lightning. The immortals claim objectives and provide some support fire. The spiders keep cranking out new scarabs and by turn 3 I'll have a unit of 37 scarabs to go eat the enemy. Thoughts?

It is an intereting list but not sure.... you might be better off taking normal lord and giving him transport to add some extra oomph.
