This is my list for 2000 points I think I will deepstrike 4 units of the assault marines (2 first turn with deathwing special rule)
What do you think? what would you change and why? If you guys could help me out with this I would be thrilled.
I am alittle confused. You say you are going to drop are first turn. You have 6 squads. Aere you planning deploying two of the squads? if so what squads will you deploy?
Now lets talk about the list. I Am not so sure you really need the Chaplain. I think with his 150 pouint investment you could get 2 typhoons speeder. This will give you some extra long range fire support along with some mobility in your army.
I don't know if the
CF's are really necessary, but if you feel that you come acrossed alot of tanks especially
LR's then sure I understand. I do like that you have a good mix of
LC's and
TH/
SS. I think it is a much needed thing in a
DW army. I do however think the squad of
SB/
PF could be dropped to add in a couple of dreads with maybe plasma cannons or keep them with assault cannons Your choice really. Do you have an apothacary? I don't see it in your list.
I like the preds, i am more incline to take vindies over preds but thats just me.
Well from the suggestions I have given you your list might look like this.

Ok so this is what my suggestions would look like on paper. I had to lose
CF on command squad as I was over by those points. Again I don't think they are needed but they could help, but you want the command squad to go after infantry and the like, not tanks so thats why I took it off of them. Witrh the preds you can take either the vindies or the preds tht is why they are slashed like that. Same goes with the dread weapon. Both are there for taste. I would keep three squads in reserve and drop 2 still while the other 2 squads are on foot giving support fire. I personally would drop the command squad and the two none
CF squads. Keep the
CF squads on ground to attack any fast moving vehicles. Well I hope this helps.
