Ok, so there is one thing i would like to change; the only only model i DO NOT actually have for this list is the third Hydra, so f there is a better replacement for this, i'd love to hear it, if not, i can get another one eventually.

HQ:
CCS: 2 ACs, Chimera = 125
Troops:
VS: 3 Meltas, Chimera = 155
VS: 3 Meltas, Chimera = 155
VS: 3 Meltas, Chimera = 155
VS: 3 Plasmas, AC, Chimera = 180
Heavy Support:
Hyda Flak Tank = 75
Hyda Flak Tank = 75
Hyda Flak Tank = 75

Plan is obvious, CCS and fourth Vet squad camp, the vet squad going to objectives. Other three Vets defend objective/ tank hunt. Hydras kill everything they can

CCS can only have one autocannon. Other than that the list looks pretty good IMO. A bit static on the fire support side, but that's what you get with Hydras.

I will just replace both of them with a Las, and I have 5 points left to spend. (I hade the extra five before the change). And i don't know where to put them..

Like the list, and gratz on owning hydras. I always wanted one but $60 for a 75 point model just seemed silly.

Yea? Can you make your own if a FW model exists? I have so many questions relating to tournament legality of models.

On your chimeras you are running multilaser and hf right?

The problem this list is going to have is combating long range vech fire as all your anti-14 is short range. If the enemy is using artillery ig you are going to get wrecked as well.

OzTeG8ndPwRfl: Tournament rules for model legality are as follows; the piece in question must be roughly the same size, and must have a minimum of three GW or FW components to the model.

For example; all of the tanks in this list, Chimeras as well as Hydras, are made from the same classic army men tanks (They look ALOT better than they sound i promise lol), but they each have at least three GW bitz (Mostly the weaponry).

I once saw an ork player at a tourny run a yellow toy dump truck with two big shootas and a deff rolla on it as a Battle wagon. Legally.


Majsharan: Yes the Chimeras are ML HHF. As for your issue with anti AV 14 being short ranged; i also was worried about that, and was wondering if you had any suggestions on how to overcome this?

I heard some time ago that the rule was something more like 75% of the model had to be GW. But if this actually the rule then this game can get a lot more fun fast.

For GW sanctioned tournaments it's usually at least 50%. Most tournies I've been in are at least 50% or completely scratch built.

Just so you know, CCS with 4x Melta guns and a Chimera is 145pts, not 155pts.

derp...im so used to giving them a plasma pistol as well that i totally forgot

It depends if you want to use stuff you already have or if you want to buy new stuff. Replacing a hydra with a valkry (the anti vech one) comes to mind.

Using parts you already have, dropping the hydras and adding autocannons to your vet squads and adding a lr vanquisher or the plasma one might work.

Sentinels with lascannons could seve in lack of better options.

Or you could just put hks on everything and hope for the best.
