So, do you get to roll for armor pen based on strength after using entropic strike? the way it is worded i would say no as the entropic strike is the actual attack, but i want to make sure so i dont miss out on any potential extra damages.

It appears Entropic Strike is applied after hits but before the Pens. The rule says for each hit roll a 4+ each one reduces the armor by 1.


As we all know the roll to pen/glance comes after the roll to hit.

The guys at my local argue that you do not get to roll for pen, that the entropic strike is the attack and therefore no rolling for armor pen, how can i approach this in a resolute but non argumenative manner?

There is not evidence anywhere that that is the case?

Because the rulebook spells out how to attack vehicles in melee and nothing in the entropic strike rule supercedes the main book.

"each hit roll a D6, Immediately " thats part of the entropic strike rule, note the Immediately part.

If ES had language about it replacing your normal attack, you would not get to roll for pen. It doesn't, so you do.
