First Battle Report. 750 pts (Special local League game).

A 4x4 board. Ruin build in center, ruined building on each corner. Pitch Battle, Capture and Control. Objectives placed on opposite corner ruins. I won the roll-off.
Necrons deployed 1 set of warriors and 1 set of scarabs on his objective. The lith centered, the other warriors with lord to the opposite side. 2nd scarabs in the ruins on the opposite side of the objective.
I set up both speeders center with LoS blocked by the center ruin. Belial and 1 squad between the speeder, the 2nd squad on the objective.
Turn 1: I move the speeders out of cover into LoS with the Lith. Move the terminators towards his objective. Typhoons shoot TMLs into Lith, no effect. Dw shoots lith, no effect.
He moves the Lith towards my objective. Scarabs move out of cover towards speeders. Warriors with Lord move towards my objective. Lith shoots, shot scatters. Harbinger shoots speeder and strips off the MM.
Turn 2: I move the objective holding termies up slighly while staying in cover. TML speeder moves back, the other moves up 6". Belial and termies continue towards Necron objective. I shoot the TML speeder at the warriors, dropping 3. The other speeder shoots the Lith and misses (yeah). Objective termies shot the warriors with no effect. Belial Termies shoot a scarab unit kiling 2 bases and 2 wounds on another. He rolls his end of phase regen and all fail.
Scarabs set up a charge on the TML/MM speeder. Lith moves sideways to support objective Warriors. Lord/Warriors continue advance towards my objective. Lith shoots Belial Squad, kills the Termie Sgt. Lord, Harbinger, Warriors shoot TML/MM speeder and shake it. Both scarab units assault, hitting on 6. Small unit attack, 3 hits. Rolls Entropic and gets 2 fours; speeder armor now 8. Rolls damage for another Shake. Large scarab unit attacks, gets 4 sixes. rolls all 4's, dropping the speeder to armor 4. Rolls hits for 3 punch, 1 glance, Speeder wrecked (punch 5).
Turn 3: I move the objective termies towards the scarabs. Belial unit continues towards objective. TML speeder moves for shots on the Lith. Belial unit runs to get closer to objective. TML shoots Lith for nothing. Termies shoot SBs ONLY at the small scarab unit killing the 1 wound base (the CMLs would have killed a 2nd base and took me out of assault range). Assaulted Both scarab units. Killed off the short unit and 3 bases on the large.
His turn he moves the Lord/warriors towards objective, Lith towards Belial. Lith shoots Belial for nothing. Harbinger shoots TML speeder for nothing. Termies kill of scarabs and consolidate back onto the objective.
Turn 4. TML moves for clear shot on Lith. Belial moves towards objective and Lith. Termies shoot up Lord/Warrior squad droppin 1 more. TML stuns Lith, he rolls a 3 to stay stunned. Termies assault Lith. Several hits with THs but only restun the Lith. His warriors advance on my objective, still out of assault range. Much rules discussion to determine the Liths Portal killer is a shooting attack and can't be used while stunned (we roll the hits anyways to practice the mechanic...Belial fails but the other 5 pass...kinda like an area effect JotWW). His objective warriors shoot up Belial squad for nothing.
At vthis point the League coordinator calls time (we used up a lot of time goin over the new rules and it took away some playing time.
Essentially I was setup to give 6 auto-hits on the Lith in his assault phase, then on my 5 move onto his objective to shoot and assault the warriors (if the Lith survived my auto hits he would have moved towards the objective to contest. My other termie squad would have shot/assaulted his warriors and should have been able to kill them all off (and the Lord who would be taking 2 THs while the SGT,LC and PF would take out the warriors) then consolidate back onto the home objective.

Scarabs are tough little gits now. While they are still handicapped by needing to hit, the ability to strip off AV can quickly make their S3 hits a death sentence. If your Drop podding you may as well count each pod as an instant kill point. Dont forget their trick of removing the Armor save from multi-wound models who fail a save. Yeah, Draigo/Calgar/Lysander/etc may be Eternal, but with no saves S3 will kill him off PDQ.
If you assault the Lith (or even get close to it) you better stun it or you can be in a world of hurt...especially if your T3 or worse. Melta now makes Crons worry. It really changes their play style since your getting the extra dice.
The Warrior regen roll is nice, but at 5+ is not a huge problem (unless your opponent has lucky dice). Still he gets to regen killed models after every PHASE. NOT TURN. If he's lucky your may end up killing the same guys over and over. Blech!
Crons still suck in assault.
We both laughed when the first question I asked was his Phase Out number. Old habits and all of that.
It will be interesting as the new units get built and start showing up on the tables.
