Ive been throwing different lists together to try and come up with a decent GK army that can handle shooty DE army all hidden in their open top vehicles. So does anyine have any good suggestions from their exp on what GK units would fair well against all shooty DE?

DE is a bit trickier to beat at 1k points. Im against list tailoring, but if you cant help your self, psybolts on your Strike squads are enough to whittle any DE build with relative ease.

Str 5 is enough to destroy av 10/11 because they are open topped, and you would be making 20 shots per salvo.

The Mortis dread is a nightmare to DE mech armies because they will always outrange their darklight weaponry and it has no special effect on the dread (it already is av12).

If you really want extreme list tailoring, you can go Razorspam with coteaz and henchmen.

Actually that was my teammate so we have the same issue, lol. We have a friend that goes above and beyond when it comes to list tailoring so I figured I could give those dirty dark eldar a taste of their on meds, lol.

Combat list tailoring with list tailoring? sounds good to me

As for fighting DE, what has been said above holds true, Razorbacks do wonders, lots Psybolts do good too, and dreadnoughts with long range fire rock the world!
