So this uses parts from the necron destroyer and triarch praetorian kits. I figure he's a good character to stick with praetorians, and since the GW version of the destroyer isn't currently available at the store (only on web) I figured I'd convert one up. Lemme know what you think
you'll note I've hidden his res orb behind his head. Figured I could just use the massive central orb in the middle of the backpack but figured some people might cry "WYSIWYG!" at me and not accept it, so I modeled it separately. I also gave him a tachyon arrow in the form of the end of the spine mounted over his left shoulder... figure it's close enough in style to what's in the book and threatening enough to seem like a good one use piece of vehicle smoking dakka.
I'm really not keen on the spine over the shoulder. I get that it's wargear but I think it ruins it a bit.
I can clearly see what you've done, its not a huge conversion per se, but I love it, because it beefs up the destroyer's torso and gives the ostentation to make it stand out.
The only other thing of note is that with all that ostentation, it's platform's back end feels.... out of place

To glimpse the future, you must look to the past and understand it. Names may change, but human behavior repeats itself. Prophetic insight is nothing more than profound hindsight.
It doesn't matter how bloody far the apple falls from the tree. If the apple fell off of a Granny Smith, that apple is going to grow into a Granny bloody Smith. The only difference is whether that apple grows in the shade of the tree it fell from.
