So, I wanna sell my Wii. I was going to put it on ebay, and there's tons of new ones listed and all these crazy bundles.. Alls I have is just the system, original box and all, but no games since I gave them to my nephews. Would I get $100 for it? that would be what I think I'd want, but I wanna be realistic with the bidding and stuff so someone will actually buy it...

Without the games I'd imagine you'll get about $50. There are tons of places selling bundle packs for $100 or less that include at least one game. No one's gonna pay $100 for the console w/no game.

I'll be getting the new Wii when they finally release it though, I figured now would be a good time to get rid of the old one since the price will drop way down once the new one is out.

When I was at GameStop getting Skyrim I asked the guy what they give for a Wii and he said $40, so I will probably just take it there to avoid the hassle of packing & shipping and waiting for someone in ebay to buy it. WAIT!!!!!!! Dont trade it in yet then, as 40 bucks wont make/break you. The reason I say wait, USUALLY when they release a new system, they will have a promotional trade in dealy around the launch time or preorder time. If they do that, instead of 40 bucks trade in, you might get double that towards the WiiU

I think asking $50 is a bit cheap TBH. Ive looked on craigslist often for deals and such, and very rarely do I see people offering them for under $100.

Yeah and I paid $250 for mine, after waiting in line at circuit city one cold sunday morning for 4 hours, and I was 9th in line. The manager finally came out 5 minutes before they opened and broke the news that they only had 10 in stock. Lots of angry moms and dads got out of line and went home broken hearted, but I got mine

But, I think I'd prolly be better off trading it in now, and I can put it toward my nephew's xmas present. When WiiU comes out, they'll probably be offering even less for it so whatever bonus they have will prolly end up being the same as now anyway.
