Black Templars are the best Space Marine Chapter out of all the Space Marines. They are the most fanatical marines out there. They are on an endless, eternal crusade for the god emperor. AND they get in the face of the enemy. Thats the way to get things done.

So what i dont like is lascannons on your lrbt and the demolishers, lascannon on valk, and the loadout of second vet squad.

give both vet squads three meltas theres your anti tank, your anti heavy infantry is more than handled by your giant tanks. heavy flamer on demolisher is good cause you gotta be a little bit close anyway.

what is your CCs gonna be doing? they dont have a transport and they have a lascannon. why not plasma them out and stick them in the valk, or you can melta them out and still stick them in the valk haha. either way a valk is a great way to delive 4 special wepaons.

idk how many points a ccs lascannon is so im gonna guess 25. so if you make the changes i suggested you have 60 points to play with

agreed on the vets (should spam plas or melta) and the valk, valks are anti troop, vendettas are anti tank...keep it simple and dont confuse roles, thats how to win with guard.
so, simply put: drop the lascannon on the valk, and take 3 plasma guns on the vets in the chimera.
if you drop the other 4 lascannons, you lose a large part of your AT capabilities, but you could drop them, and take another chimera for the command squad and give them meltas instead of the lascannon

Deadly Dark Eldar Warrior

Would you need any more troops for objectives? Otherwise I played against a list like this with marines and it is very hard to take down that much armour:(

Matt Ward declared death pit on the Eldar god Khaine. To celebrate his victory he held the most awesome party ever and all the Eldar were invited. The intense pleasure from the orgy with him spawned Slannesh, created the Eye of Terror and destroyed the Eldar empire. Their last words were, "worth it."

So spread the word, and beware of Matt Ward for he can Death Pit at any time.

Never, ever, ever mix utility in Vet squads (plasma + missile = fail).

Get rid of the las in the CCS and put in 4 plasma. You have plenty of heavy hitting AT and not enough rapid fire anti Mephiston/MC/termie juice.

Swap one of the LRBT for a squadron of 2 Hydras. This will give you long range firepower to nuke light transports. If you have ever played 40k before, you'll know why that's important.

Snip, snip.

Kavy - He can only have 3 troops.

I will point out if your drop the lascannons on your tanks, you could have 4 Demolishers. I do hate the squadron rules though, so I am not keen on them.

I will also point out that your Deathwing buddy is probably gonna be DSing in? That is alot of Str 10 AP 2 templates your gonna be tossing out there. Might not make him your buddy for long after you kill off a few terminators due to scatter.

See what everyone said about the Valk + LC equals poor choice? They are right.

With your buddy's list being what it is (and no info posted on it), we sorta have to assume it is an attacking list. Are you making a supporting list or a stand alone list? Because on Turn 1 your list might be the only one on the table... it will come down to you holding objectives and you taking on alot of fire... and besides the 4 tanks, your list is not much else. Charging forward with 1 Chimera and 4 LRBTs makes my choice easy on what I want to destroy first after the hail of BS 3 lascannon shots. One Land Raider will tear your list apart, much less 2-4 of them that you could be facing, much less drop pod Dreads in your rear.

You might be better off dumping the Mech and getting platoons with HWSs and Vendettas. Now you can't accidently blow up your partner, your holding the rear, and your pouring on a ton of fire into the enemy with the additional ability to capture objectives.

Vendetta - 130pts

1250pts

About 20-30pts I could shave off to get another advisor or doc, but in the end I am kinda happy with the equipment I gave to guys. Heck, if you drop the Vendettas/SWS and go all ground troops, you could easily get Creed (and maybe even Kell) and a extra LC HWS. You could twin link all of your HWSs with 'Bring it Down!' and make the blob better in CC with 'For Cadia!'.
