Hi guys, need a little help. I am new to Hordes, and running a Circle list. I want to use Morvahna as my warlock, but I can't quite seem to figure out how to get the most use out of her. Part of that is because I am still getting used to the game and not getting her assassinated suddenly, but for example I have no idea how to use her feat well.
Here's my list:
35pts
Morvahna
Feral WW
WoldWarden
Argus
Woldwyrd
10 Bloodtrackers(spear chicks)
Nuala
Lord of the Feast
I also have the following models to use:
5 more Bloodtrackers
5 Blood Weavers
Druids
Druid overseer
Warpwolf Stalker
Argus #2
Standing stones
I have a few other warlocks to play with, Kreuger and Kaya in particular, but I kind of want to figure out Morvahna if I can before I start mixing things up too much. I just don't feel like Morvahna is doing much in my list other than tossing some Erruptions of Life through the Woldwarden and sometimes bringing some Bloodtrackers back to life.
Any suggestions would be great for this Hordes noob!

more troops, less beasts. Morvhana is one of the rare warlocks that doesnt need beasts to get fury, as she can generate fury from stuff killed in her control area via harvest. also, she can generally cut herself more for fury because she heals from restoration.
the general idea here is to have restoration cast on bloodweavers and keep them close to morhvana, having at least 4 withinn 1 inch of her. so she can always cut for 4 fury and heal it right back. add this in with harvest and your free to be using your beasts to take down heavy targets while your troops work with getting rif of your opponent's infantry.
Morvahna the Autumnblade
Feral Warpwolf
Warpwolf Stalker
Druids of Orboros (Leader and 5 Grunts)
Druid of Orboros Overseer
Tharn Bloodtrackers (Leader and 9 Grunts)
Tharn Bloodweavers (Leader and 5 Grunts)
this list is aimed at achieving what i mentioned above. wold warden is nice, but you need PUNCH, so i added your 2 heaviest hitting warbeasts. then the troop selection can easily mince enemy infantry, and druids are there just because they are the swiss army knife of orboros.
first turn you wanna get regrowth and harvest out, turn 2 you upkeep them and cast restoration on the bloodweavers that supply you with healing potential. play it slow, make your army do the work, morhava should not be commiting to combat unless its a solid angle with favorable outcomes.
enjoy orboros, come down to the shop sometime. lemme know ahead of time and ill give ya some pointers in person.

If you only have 5 blood weavers, you can't field them as you need minimum 6. Same with the 5 bloodtrackers, you can't add them.
I would first of all drop Argus, that's the worst Circle beast.
I have never seen Morvanha, but she looks like she has some advanced tricks, just that I don't see how they are put to work. She can heal herself alot and also get alot of fury points. So she's one of the warlocks that fit better with an infantry army.

Good call, I have 6 of both. My bad.
Studder: Thanks man. I hadn't considered the cutting/healing angle. That is damned tricky! I would be a little sad to drop the Lord of the Feast for all his tricks, but I have been wanting to break out the Druids and see if they are worth painting.
I am going to be up in PA this coming week after Border Raids till Thanksgiving. I am grabbing dinner with Evan and Trescha Monday; how does Monday during the day or Tuesday work for you?

Invest in quality infantry. Bloodtrackers, Wolf Riders, Druids of Orboros and Farrow Bonegrinders are her key units IMO
The Beasts you should take should be independent and capable of doing damage to high armour opponents. The Warpwolf Stalker, Feral Warpwolf, Wold Guardian and Gorax are your best options (not all at once).
You've tempted me to try her out again. Her tier is fun (not awesome, fun). Here's my take on her, not using her tier.
Morvahna +6
Warpwolf Stalker 10
Gorax 4
Gorax 4
10 Tharn Bloodtrackers + Nuala 10
Druids of Orboros 7
4 Farrow Bonegrinders 2
Druid Wilder 2
Feralgeist 1
Swamp Gobbers / Gallows Grove (if available)
In small battles Fury from Harvest can be sparse. The Druid wilder will help out with fury management. The Farrow Bonegrinders allow Morvahna to cast her spells from further away, the druids protect her, everything else kills things. The Gorax buff the stalker so that it can kill things then run away.

She doesn't do too bad with Geomancying heavy warbeasts either, but in her specific case, she does best with Megalith. She doesn't ened the forest as much (she's hard to shoot as is) and she does better helping limit charges to her or with a DEF debufff to help her force oer herself.
As noted, taking quality over quantity is the thing with her and infantry. Bloodtrackers with Nuala can kill a good amount more than you would expect from their unit size due to Quick Work. Druids provide nice utility. And things like Shifting Stones are just also useful in of themselves.
As a note, what I run with her:
Morvahna, the Autumnblade
- Gorax
- Megalith
- Warpwolf Stalker
Reeve Hunter
Shifting Stones
- Stone Keeper
Tharn Bloodtrackers (10)
- Nuala, the Huntress
War Wolf
The War Wolf and Reeves I find are actually fairly good use of her points at this level. They trigger her feat, have a good volume of attacks, and both benefit and are not hindered by the forests she generates. I think when they come out, the upcoming Gallows Groves will fit in there nicely.
An alternative I have ran in the past, though, has been:
Morvahna, the Autumnblade
- Same Beasts
Shifting Stones
- Stone Keeper
Wolves of Orboros (10)
- Chieftan and Totem Bearer
Wolf Lord Morraig
The idea of this list is for more or less immortal-as-possible troopers. Morraig is kept safe as possible, adn is used as an alternate end game or a means to annihilate heavies after the Wolves are done. Regrowth on them allows for easy replacement of troops for charge bonuses. The main thing to worry for is that no Stealth makes them easy prey to anti-upkeeps and I think this is a thing to keep in mind.
And stuff.

Cool thanks guys! I have been loving the Bloodtrackers with Nuala in game, and am looking forward to trying out the Weavers. I will be a little sad to put the Lord of the Feast on the shelf, but I suppose I did buy those druids, and even painted one, so they should see at least a little table time
