Hi, after some local GW managers decided to shut down the battle nights due to some idiots leaving trash everywhere, I've officially stopping playing at GW.

The biggest problem about this is that I don't have many traditional games friends and there isn't a good club for me to play 40k (or if luckily gorkamorka/mordheim etc)

Darksphere's Tuesday nights and Cross Gaming Club is ok, but going to the problem above^ I can't really book a game every week since there isn't many players available. I tried my best to help with that Greenwich Club thread you may've seen, but I've officially lost contact with the guy in charge.

To sum this up, I need a list of every London/South East club around. I've tried the search engine and only cross gaming and Darksphere really come up.
Please help me.

I've got the same problem. I live in north London but there seems to be a lack if gaming clubs. Plenty of GW stores, but I would quite fancy going somewhere where you can play more then just GW stuff. Not that I don't enjoy GW games, but within the past year I have branched out to Dust: Tactics and incursion. The only other people I know who play are the WARMIL guys and they be 2hours away! Plus the other guy I know who's involved works for Spartan games in the middle if nowhere!

The only club I'm aware of is in finchley. But that is the only one I can really find, and one near Heathrow?

Overlords are in Becontree, which is near Barking on the District line. They play 40k in a scout hall behind a church, have a pretty regular attendance, lots of tables, tons of scenery and pretty much monthly events/tournaments.

Their club 'night' is 3pm-7pm every Sunday. http://www.theoverlords.co.uk/

If you're in south london, then I believe there's still a club called South London Warlords, who run from a church hall in Dulwich. As far as I remember, they're quite a sizeable club, and play a lot of historicals as well as 40k/Fantasy.

In fact, yes - they are huge. They seem to organise the Salute event each year at Excel - their website is http://www.salute.co.uk/

Overlords doesn't work for me location-wise, takes too long. Thanks anyway.

Warlords seems better, shame I couldn't take one bus there. I might try it one day, but I don't think it's the right club for me though.
